This book is an amazing tool for the dad that wants more than anything to have a positive long lasting relationship with their daughter. This book does not sugarcoat the realities of that Dad's today face in protecting their daughter innocence and purity. As a Dad of a current teenage daughter I can only say that I am thankful that this book was given to me as a gift as I fight my daily battle to love my teenage daughter through all the issues that we face on a daily basis.
Great book! Highly recommended for the dad that doesn't mind being held accountable for his daughters perspective on life and God :)

Great Thought Leadership from a Caring Dad!!

4 stars from me because frankly it's a pleasure to be able to read one Dad's experiences and insights that are written specifically for other Dad's, free from the rubbish you see posted on parent websites and free from the social tendency to berate men as stereo-typically useless and clueless. As a Brit, I am also reminded of the admirable way in which Americans embrace 'thought leadership' (which is the context and platform from which this book emerges) which we in the UK tend to view with great cynicism if package doesn't come with a PhD and professional experience attached; Rick Johnson is not (as far as I know) a qualified coach, councillor or relationship professional, but he does have something very powerful and insightful to say that is (for the most part) well-researched, accessible, well-written and useful. It's not 5 star for me, because I am not convinced the overtly Christian subtext is useful or necessary, regardless of my respect for Rick Johnson and his religious beliefs.In summary, highly recommended but approach it with an open mind.
