Excellent Prayer Guide

I loved their first book "Praying Through Your Pregnancy" and this is an excellent follow up. I love how she guides us through each stage and brings up things I might not normally think of praying for. My husband and I have been blessed immensely by these books! Buy it as a shower gift or to welcome a new blessing!

Excellent followup to Praying Through Your Pregnancy

This is the second book by this author - her first being "Praying Through Your Pregnancy". I received the other book while pregnant with my son Benjamin back in 2011/2012 and have used it again in this pregnancy. So this new book has come at a great time with Ben being only 16 months old at the time. It is quite interesting to be reading both books at the same time.
I think this book is best approached as a devotional. As with the previous book this author has included snippits of her personal journal and those of other people including her husband. This makes the book have a very personal touch and easy and interesting to read. As a first time mother she painstakingly kept record of her journey and in doing so created a book not based totally on hindsight but also on the recorded journey. This makes this book easy for most women to relate to and understand. I love that each section is ended with scripture and a prayer.
I would say that this book would be a great book to hand to a new mother when she brings her baby home while the first should be given to her as soon as she finds out she is pregnant. Both books are full of encouragement and address fears and concerns of most mothers in an unbiased way. So great!! I really, really enjoy this author.

GREAT BOOK!!!

As the mother of a toddler, I just love this book and how it teaches me how to pray for and raise a spiritually healthy child. This book is beautiful, with pages for journaling space for each stage of your child's development ages 0-5 years, to help you remember the wonderful memories of their early years. I just love the age specific prayers and scripture verses woven throughout. Wonderful, wonderful book for mothers! You won't regret buying a copy for each of your children as keepsakes.
