From Booklist
After a long winter comes spring, during which blossoms can either thrive or wither and fade. Claire Summers has long let her heart go untended, but when her daughter, Haley, sets into motion an unanticipated chain of events, Claire must choose whether to allow the seeds of love to grow or to remain safe and untouched. Meanwhile, Claire’s neighbor, Maureen, is struggling with cancer and regrets over the child she gave up for adoption years ago. Keith Watson has residual issues over his own childhood, so when he is asked to help Maureen track down her son, each of them is forced to confront things they had hoped were relegated permanently to the past. However, as the past comes to light and wounds are healed, each learns the value of forgiveness. Hannon’s (Trapped, 2013) latest is a story of the hopeful aspect of love, in which she introduces readers to characters just as real and broken as each of us and shows how, through a bit of faith, grace, and trust, people can blossom too. --Carolyn Richard

From the Back Cover
"Irene Hannon is one great storyteller."--Debbie Macomber, #1 New York Times bestselling author

Independent single mom Claire Summers is doing her best to make lemonade out of the lemons life has handed her. Workaholic Keith Watson is interested only in the bottom line--until a letter from Claire's eleven-year-old daughter reaches his desk and changes everything.

As the executive assistant to a philanthropic businessman, Keith is used to fielding requests for donations. But the girl isn't asking for money. She wants help finding the long-lost son of a neighbor. As Keith reluctantly digs into this assignment in his usual results-oriented style, he has no idea how involved he and Claire will become--nor how unusual the results will actually be. Who could have guessed that a child's kindhearted request would bring love and hope to so many lives . . . including his own?

Through compelling characters and surprising plot twists, fan favorite Irene Hannon offers this tenderhearted story that demonstrates how life is like lilacs--the biggest blooms come only after the harshest winters.

twisty and turny!
By Amber
My Review:

The characters in this book are wonderful because they are multilayered and evolve and grow throughout the story. In my opinion, the characters make a book worth reading just as much, if not more, than the plot. The characters are what move the story along.

The plot is also very important to a book, and this one had lots of twists and turns and surprises... but you were led to them so you thought you might know what's coming before it happened. The plot was great in this book.

The only thing I didn't like about this book is that I felt like the interactions between two of the supporting characters (David's daughter and son-in-law) might have been just a little too suggestive for a Christian novel. Had they been in a secular novel, they would have been entirely appropriate and expected, by I feel like Christian novels should have not just a higher standard, but the highest standard.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

EMOTIONAL AND HEARTWARMING!!
By My Book Addiction and More
ONE PERFECT SPRING by Irene Hannon is an interesting Contemporary Fiction. Follow, single Mom, Claire Summers, Claire's eleven year old daughter, Haley, Dr. Chandler, who had a son, she gave up for adoption, when she was younger, and Keith Watson, a workaholic and an executive assistant to a philanthropic businessman on their journey of discovery, faith, love and a child's Birthday wish for another.

A letter from a little girl could change everything.

What an emotional tale of adoption, romance, love, faith, forgiveness, hope, and healing. Do, have a tissue or handkerchief at the ready, you will need it, I am sure, I did.

A very emotional but tenderhearted tale of hope, and love, with many twists and turns. I enjoyed ONE PERFECT SPRING. I usually read her Romantic Suspense stories, but I gotta say her Contemporary Romance is just as thrilling and emotional.

It will leave you speechless as well as warms your heart and soul. Well done!!

Received for an honest review.
