Fantastic book on marriage if you are open to trying it God's way

This book is fantastic and a must read for any "God believing" couple. God loves us in our imperfection, as we walk with him as we grow in him and our character improves. He doesn't ask us to be perfect first before being able to enter heaven, just accept the gift of salvation. The book points out key insights that makes you look at yourself and examine how you are treating your spouse and if you are loving him/her unconditionally as God loves us. Obviously the book is not overlooking special circumstances such as abusive spouses, adultery, etc. but I believe has the potential to do wonders to change the marriage of generally well intended people where bickering, fighting, being cold, dwelling on the past, harboring resentment, etc. may be limiting the happiness of their marriage. It works best if you both read it. Buy it!

Very Well Written!

This book was very well written and somewhat hilarious at times, especially the thrift shop story. It was enjoyable to read while being practical to apply to your marriage. I could relate to many of stories Joey shared. It's nice to take advice from someone who is actually living it every day. Well done, Joey!
