About the Author
Carol Kuykendall is director of leadership development at MOPS International (www.mops.org). She is the author of three books and the coauthor of five more, including Real Moms, What Every Mom Needs, What Every Child Needs, Children Change a Marriage, and Make Room for Daddy. A popular seminar and retreat speaker, Carol also writes for Guideposts and Daily Guideposts, and her articles have appeared in Reader's Digest and Parents magazine. She has been a guest on the Focus on the Family and Family Life Today radio broadcasts. Carol and her husband, Lynn, live in Boulder, Colorado.

Wow!!! This is a ton of great information from a 'been there, done that' Mom and Grandma.
The author shares wisdom, humor and stories all wrapped in grace...
(I loved that I could read it and be inspired to be better, encouraged for the great things I AM doing, but not feel guilty about all the stuff I'm NOT doing.)
This is a celebration of the family. I think I might make it my new standard baby shower gift!!!

I love this book.

I read this book on a plane a few years ago, I laughed, I cried and when I was done I had a clear idea of how to do "it." Become the person I wanted to be when I grew up. While faith is discussed, it is not overly religious so it makes a great baby gift... I love this book, and when your kids grow up and still like you, come home for holidays and want to be around you... you will be glad you read it, and so will they...
