Spiritually uplifting!

I must admit my expectations were blown out of the water on this book. I didn't know what to expect exactly just curious about Justin Bieber's mom. I'd read and liked the book Kanye's mom wrote about him so I wondered what Ms. Mollette's journey looked like. She didn't pull any punches so to speak. She laid her life on the line warts and all. Refreshing is an understatement. I was surprised to learn of her spiritual side. Pleasantly surprised. Her stories of her faith and her confirmations of the Lord working in her life made the book for me. It was uplifting and inspiring. You see where Justin gets those qualities. Of course the parts about Justin were good. They would have to be. He is a special young man in the world today. Going to my son's lifeskills middle school classroom is what got me to look into more information about Bieber. My son's female classmates were obsessed with him. His teacher said the songs were easy for them to sing even if they lacked the language ability they could sing Baby Oh Baby No. My son has autism. I started a youtube page to showcase him and his abilities in a way to show him off and to promote understanding for people on the spectrum. I think that Ms. Mallette started out doing the same in a way with Justin drew me in to the story. We all love a rags to riches story! And to have it happen to ones talented and deserving makes it all the better.

Really inspiring & overall a great book! Some things in this book are pretty hard to believe, such as how fortunate this woman was! First half talks about her abuse story, then she talks a lot about her son Justin :) And then the last few pages are back to her story again- definitely recommend reading this if you're unsure and comes with about 8 pages of her and Justin's baby pictures!! Arrived within a week too! Good price.

A must-read for anybody who has been neglected betrayed abused verbally abused physically and sexually abused done drugs of any kind.......a must read!
