From Booklist
Taylor Martin doesn’t know what happened to her father. He left one day and never returned, and Taylor has spent her life wondering why. She now profiles victims of crimes, solving mysteries for others. It soon becomes clear, however, that several recent crimes have one thing in common: Taylor. Nick Sinclair’s brother is in trouble. Scott has dealt with substance abuse for years and now stands as the central suspect in a murder investigation. Nick is convinced that Scott is innocent, but it becomes increasingly difficult to prove. As Nick and Taylor’s paths cross in their pursuit of the truth, they stumble into romance. Bradley weaves an exciting story of danger, mystery, and attraction. Readers will love the thrill of trying to solve the crimes surrounding Taylor as they root for her and Nick’s relationship to blossom. Bradley infuses the plot with questions of faith, too, as her characters learn that at the end of the day, only God knows all, and that faith is what makes life’s traumas bearable. --Carolyn Richard

From the Back Cover
While she's stalking the truth . . . someone is stalking her.

Psychology professor and criminal profiler Taylor Martin prides herself on being able to solve any crime, except the one she wants most desperately to solve--the disappearance of her father twenty years ago. When she finally has a lead on his whereabouts, Taylor returns home to Logan Point, Mississippi, to investigate. But as she works to uncover the truth, someone else will do almost anything to keep her from it.

Nick Sinclair pens mystery novels for a living, but the biggest mystery to him is how he can ever get over the death of his wife--a tragedy he believes he could have prevented. Now that his estranged brother is the only family he has left, Nick sets out to find him. But when he crosses paths with Taylor, all he seems to find is trouble.

Join the chase as Taylor and Nick search the murky shadows of the past for the keys to unlocking the present--and moving into a future they never imagined.

Promising at first but then it became painfully slow and predictable. Eventually I just wanted it to be over.

It pains me to give this book only two stars as the writer is obviously gifted and she put together some remarkable scenes. However, the story developed slowly and the plot was predictable. I kept thinking it was on the verge of getting better but then I found myself rolling my eyes during several of the later scenes. I invested so much and I just wanted it to be over. It didn't help the main female character was not really likable.

The story that tells it all....and I do mean it all
By joyful334209
I read the outside and thought oh this would be a good book to read - nice - but then I opened it and saw how intense this was you get into it right away - there is a kidnapping that was caught and you are immediately in a crime scene - and right as the crime scene is going on there is a stalking taking place and then after that and I do mean immediately after that there is an attack of the profiler who caught the kidnapper was attacked, but who was the attacker, was it the stalker or was it hmm can't tell you, but amongst all this there is the profiler trying to find who the stalker is. Now who she thinks the stalker is has a brother who believes in his innocence and wants to prove it to her. Now there is an attraction going on there. Now she has to go home because that is where the trail leads, while she is there she is also looking into a mystery that is extremely serious. Plus along with the stalking, the kidnapping, the attack, the romance, the serious mystery, there is something going on that is even more serious than the mystery, another mystery. Most importantly She is finding her way back to GOD thanks to Nick. Now what happens is .........nah I think you need to read that all for yourselves......I don't want to ruin it - but all this happened within two chapters and the chapters are not very long at all - and as this is going on there is a romance a broowing. So can I tell you if this is a good book you are darn right this is a good book - GOD is leading one character and starting on the other and lets see where it ends only the author knows unless you pick up the book to see. I have to tell you there are like 5 stories going on at one time and you are on such a rollercoaster and it is so intense and yet you are so in love with the two characters wishing they would hurry up and admit how they feel. but isn't that the way it always is. It is a great read - and I cannot wait to read the rest of the logan point series and anything else by this author.j

So glad I found this author. What a great story She's a FBI Profiler and she is being stalked.. .. It is so nice to read a really good suspense novel without all the swearing and sex. The story had more than one plot line but was not hard to keep up with .no speed reading here. I read it all and enjoyed it. I read it in one day. I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. am really looking forward to reading other books by this author... I highly recommend this book
